2011 Bowl Predictions: Where Will Temple Football Be Bowling?

The Philadelphia Inquirer is reporting that with a win over Kent Sate this weekend, Temple could get an invite to three bowl games. First is the New Mexico Bowl on December 17th in Albuquerque. Another is the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl played on the blue field at Boise State's Bronco Stadium. Finally, ESPN projects them to play Arizona State in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl at AT&T Park In San Francisco.

It would be Temple's second bowl appearance in the last three years and obviously would represent a strong start to the Steve Addazio era. The Owls last bowl game was the EagleBank Bowl in 2009 in which they were defeated by UCLA. That was their first bowl game in 30 years.

Scout.com also is projecting Temple to play in a bowl game, specifically one that I suspect all Temple players will be rooting for. The Sheraton Hawaii Bowl to played on Christmas Eve in Honolulu.
