The 7-4 Temple Owls will look to end their season on a three-game winning streak Friday, when they face off against the Kent State Golden Flashes. The Golden Flashes (5-6) are riding a four-game winning streak of their own and need one more victory to be bowl eligible.
Temple is taking Kent State seriously, as they should:
"I think honestly we are approaching it as a one-game season and a championship game," Temple coach Steve Addazio said during Monday's media luncheon.

"They have our attention completely," Addazio said.
On paper, this should be a good match-up. Temple is seventh in FBS averaging 261.6 rushing yards per game on 5.4 yards per carry, and Kent State's rush defense is ranked 23rd in the nation – they only allow 121.5 yards per game on 3.4 yards per carry.
These two teams have the two best defenses in the MAC in terms of yards allowed, and Kent State is second in turnover margin (+10) and first in turnovers forced with 29. Temple has the fourth best scoring defense in the nation, allowing only 13.6 points per game.
Kick off is set for Noon EST. The game will be played at Lincoln Financial Field.
