Temple Hosts Buffalo Tonight At The Liacouras Center

The Temple Owls have just two games left to prepare for the No. 7 Duke Blue Devils. On Wednesday, the Owls host the Buffalo Bulls at the Liacouras Center (7 p.m.).

The Temple Owls will play their first game in nine days Wednesday, as they host Buffalo Bulls in a non-conference showdown at the Liacouras Center. The Owls (7-3) entered the holiday break winning four of their last five games, including a 77-70 victory over the Rice Owls, Dec. 19, while the Bulls (6-3) will be playing their final non-league game before beginning play in the Mid-American Conference, Jan. 7, against Kent State. Temple begins Atlantic 10 Conference play, Jan. 7, against the visiting Dayton Flyers.

Currently, senior guard Ramone Moore is pacing the Owls in scoring averaging 17.5 points per game, while junior guard Khalif Wyatt is not far behind (14.7 ppg). Senior center Micheal Eric enters Wednesday's game averaging a double-double per game (10.5 ppg and 11.3 ppg.).

Meanwhile, the Bulls are led by sophomore forward Javon McCrea, who's tallying a team-best 16.7 ppg and 8.1 rpg.

On Nov. 30, behind 24 points from sophomore guard Zach Filzen, Buffalo earned a road victory at Dayton, 84-55.
