The Temple Owls beat the Buffalo Bulls by a final score of 87-85. It was no easy win for the Owls who needed nine points in overtime to get the win. The victory moves Temple to 8-3 on the season.
Ramone Moore led Temple in scoring with 24 points. He added eight rebounds and was two-for-four outside the three-point line. Anthony Lee had 12 rebounds, the first time he was in double figures for rebounds all season. That helped the Owls overcome a paltry 36 percent on field goals for the win. As a team, the Owls made 11 of 28 three-point shots to help with the win.
Temple travels to Delaware on Friday, Dec. 30 for their next game. They have two more games, including that trip to Delaware and a home date against Duke, before opening conference play in the Atlantic 10.
