Temple Vs Central Michigan: Owls Bounce Back Vs Chippewas

The Temple Owls Men's basketball team moved to 4-2 on the season tonight as they defeated the Central Michigan Chippewas by a final score of 86-74. In their first game since finding out they will be without their defensive anchor and best big man, Michael Eric, for six weeks with a right knee injury, the Owls took care of business at home against a solid Central Michigan team.

Eric's replacement – Anthony Lee – played only 24 minutes because of foul trouble, but recorded nine rebounds and three blocks. The Owls were led by junior guard Khalif Wyatt, who scored a game high 23 points on only six shots from the field. He was 5-6 overall, 3-4 from beyond the arch and 10-10 from the free throw line in an unbelievably efficient performance. Ramone Moore and Aaron Brown also filled it up scoring 17 and 21, respectively. Brown did so in 22 minutes off the bench.

Temple's next game is Wednesday, December 7, when they travel to Toledo to face the 6-1 Rockets.
