Temple Defeats Toledo 77-58 Thanks To Big Night From Aaron Brown

Temple went on the road in Toledo for a non conference game and will be leaving with a big win. The Owls crushed the Toledo Rockets 77-58 tonight at the Savage Arena.

The big news was who did not start this game for Temple, Khaliff Wyatt was benched for much of the first half after missing a film study. In Wyatt's absence guard Aaron Brown stepped with a game high 19 points and was 5-8 from beyond the arc. Juan Fernandez and the aforementioned Khaliff Wyatt were the only other Owls in double figures.

Sophomore guard Rian Pearson led the way for Toledo with 16 points.

The big win over Toledo figures to be a tune up for this weekend's hotly anticipated Big 5 matchup with Villanova at Temple's Liacouras Center. That game takes place this Saturday night at 7pm.
