Temple Vs Saint Louis: Owls Win, 72-67

The Temple Owls evened their record in Atlantic 10 conference play on Wednesday night. They beat the Saint Louis University Billikens by a final score of 72-67 in the first game of a two-game road trip.

The Owls hit 56.6 percent from the field, trumping the Billikens' 41.9 shooting percentage from the field. Junior guard Kalif Wyatt led the Owls with 22 points, two rebounds, two assists, three steals and two blocked shots. Those numbers included a perfect three-for-three in three-point attempts that paced the team on a 71 percent rate. In continued a torrid pace Wyatt started in the Owls' Jan. 4 upset over Duke.

Temple has now won five of their last six games. The only loss in that stretch came on Jan. 7 to Dayton, their first game after the Duke upset. They play the Richmond Spiders on Saturday.
