Temple Vs. La Salle: Owls Win 76-70 Over The Explorers

The Temple Owls beat the La Salle Explorers in Atlantic 10 conference action on Wednesday night. Four Temple players scored in double figures to give the Owls a 76-70 win.

Junior forward Rahlir Hollis-Jefferson led the Owls with 19 points and seven rebounds. He also had three assists and three blocked shots in the win. Ramone Moore, the Owls' leading scorer this season, had 17 points, his season average, to go with six rebounds, three assists and one steal. Juan Fernandez and Kalif Wyatt each scored a dozen points.

The Owls shot 51.9 percent from the field and sunk 81 percent of their 22 free throws. La Salle made just 56 percent of their 16 free throws.

The win evens the Owls at 2-2 in conference play and gives them a 12-5 record overall. They host Maryland on Saturday.
