Temple Vs. Maryland Final Score: Owls Win, 73-60

The Temple Owls defeated the Maryland Terrapins today by a final score of 73-60 in front of a home crowd at the historic Palestra arena in Philadelphia. The win represents the 13th win of the season for the Owls, improving their record to 13-5 overall and 2-2 in the Atlantic 10 Conference.

Temple's defense and ball movement helped propel the Owls to big second half in which they out-scored the Terrapins by 10. The fifth leading scorer in the nation – Terrell Stoglin of Maryland – "got his", scoring 20 points on 13 shots, but the rest of the Terrapins offense was stagnant. Maryland only had eight total assists for the game, compared to 16 turnovers. The Owls, on the other hand, had 20 assists and 10 turnovers.

The Owls next game is a non-conference battle against the Charlotte 49ers, in Charlotte.
