Temple vs. Pitt score: Owls trail Panthers, 31-7

The Temple Owls have been dominated so far against the Pitt Panthers. Through the first half of play, Pitt leads Temple, 31-7.

Temple cut Pitt's lead down to 14-7 at the end of the first quarter, but the second quarter has been all Panthers. Kevin Harper added a 32-yard field goal for Pitt early in the second quarter, extending Pitt's lead to 17-7. Ray Graham added to the lead with 3:08 left to go, when he rushed for a 1-yard touchdown, giving the Panthers a commanding 24-7 lead.

Pitt added another touchdown with just one second left in the half, when Tino Sunseri hooked up with Graham on a 4-yard touchdown pass.

The 31-7 score accurately reflects how the game has been played so far. Pitt has dominated the game, out gaining Temple in total net yards, 334-92.

Temple's running game has been non-existent so far as well. Montel Harris has just 16 yards on 10 carries, while quarterback Chris Coyer has 15 yards on five carries.

Temple's defense, meanwhile, hasn't been able to stop Graham. Graham has 12 carries for 50 yards and a touchdown, and has added four receptions for 71 yards and a touchdown.
