The Temple Owls are flying high. They picked up their fourth straight win with a 78-60 thrashing of the Fordham Rams on Wednesday night.
The Owls actually trailed 21-18 at one point. A 10-0 run and an offensive explosion from Ramone Moore and Kalif Wyatt changed their fate. Moore and Wyatt combined for 49 points in the drubbing. Moore led the way with 25 points, and Wyatt kicked in 24 points. Moore also added five assists and one rebound. Wyatt had four rebounds and one assist on the night.
Fordham freshman guard Bryan Smith scored 23 points in the Rams' losing effort, including a 4-and-6 night from outside the three-point line.
Temple continues battling Rams, with a Saturday tilt against the Rhode Island Rams.
It was the 26th time in 30 meetings that Temple beat Fordham.
