The Temple Owls look to extend their winning streak to seven games when they host George Washington at the Liacouras Center Wednesday night at 6 p.m.

Temple (17-5, 6-2) has used its six game winning streak to take sole possession of first place in the Atlantic 10 Conference. The Owls lead a pack of four schools -- Saint Louis, Massachusetts, La Salle and Xavier -- by half a game in the league standings.

Fran Dunphy's squad ousted Rhode Island 73-56 on Saturday for its fifth straight double-digit win. Per usual, the Owls were led by the one-two punch of Ramone Moore and Khalif Wyatt, who respectively poured in 22 points and 16 points.

George Washington (8-15, 3-6) has lost four straight, all in the conference, and is just 1-8 on the road. The Colonials are paced by Tony Taylor, a senior guard who averages 14.1 points per game.
