NCAA Tournament 2012 Bracket Update: Temple Is A 5 Seed, Will Face Winner Of Cal/USF

Temple earned a 5 seed and will play in the Midwest region during the 2012 NCAA Tournament.

The 2012 NCAA Tournament bracket and field has been announced, and the Temple Owls will receive a 5 seed in the Midwest region. The Owls' first opponent will be the winner of the California Golden Bears vs South Florida Bulls "first four" game, and they will play on Friday in Nashville. If the Owls win their first matchup, they will face the winner of No. 4 Michigan and No. 13 Ohio on Sunday.

Temple earned the 5 seed by virtue of an at large bid.

No. 8 Creighton Bluejays vs. No. 9 Alabama Crimson Tide, Friday

No. 2 Kansas Jayhawks vs. No. 15 Detroit Titans, Friday

No. 3 Georgetown Bulldogs vs. No. 14 Belmont Bruins, Friday

No. 6 San Diego St. Aztecs vs. No. 11 NC State Wolfpack, Friday
