It hasn't been pretty, but the No. 5 seed Temple Owls lead the No. 12 seed South Florida Bulls 19-15 at halftime.
Much like their opponent Cal in the play-in game, the Bulls have gone frigid on offense, shooting a ridiculously low 12 percent from the field. Victor Rudd leads USF with only 4 points.
The game has not gotten away from USF due to their stout defense. Temple has had trouble blowing the game open despite USF's woes, as the Bulls defense has only allowed them to take 13 shots. Khalif Wyatt leads the Owls with 9 points, and is shooting a perfect 6-for-6 from the charity stripe. The rest of the team, however, needs to pick up the slack in the second half.
