The Temple football program will officially join the Big East Conference this upcoming season, however, the future of the Owls in the Big East after that is still a big unclear. Things got a bit less hazy Monday, when the Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer wrote an article, saying Temple will play in the Big East's West Division come the 2013-14 season, when the league official adds five new football-playing members.
The Owls could be lumped into the same division with distant rivals Boise State, San Diego State, Houston, Southern Methodist, and Memphis.
Pompey said things could change for Temple in '15, when Navy officially joins the conference. But for now, it seems as if the Owls could be traveling to Texas, Idaho and California for road games
