Temple Owls star guard Khalif Wyatt was one of 28 people arrested this weekend with ties to an Atlantic City prostitution ring.
The 21-year old was charged with engaging in prostitution and resisting arrest after a sting operation featuring undercover female police officers, according to Fox Philly. A law enforcement official told CSN Philly that Wyatt allegedly attempted to flee the scene after trying to solicit sex from one of the undercover cops. Sunday was Wyatt's 21st birthday.
Wyatt seems set to be Temple's best player in the 2012 season after averaging 17.1 points per game on 47.9 percent shooting during his junior year. He also added 3.3 assists and 3.2 rebounds while helping to lead Temple to the NCAA Tournament, where the Owls lost in the first round to South Florida.
Temple has not issued a statement in regards to the incident.
