Villanova opens Big East play this week on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. when the Wildcats visit Morgantown, West Virginia to meet the West Virginia Mountainers.
The Wildcats (7-5) are just 3-5 since beginning the season with four consecutive victories.
Penn State also begins conference play this week, beginning its Big Ten schedule on Thursday night (9 p.m., ESPN 2) in Ann Arbor, Michigan against the Michigan Wolverines.
The Nittany Lions (8-5) rebounded from a three-game losing streak to win their final two non-conference tilts against Mt. St. Mary's and Cornell. No. 19 Michigan (10-2) is on a five-game winning streak since losing to Virginia on Nov. 29.
