The Penn Quakers visit The Pavilion Saturday night (7 p.m., ESPN3) for a Big 5 matchup against the Villanova Wildcats.
Villanova (4-2) enters the game on the heels of two consecutive losses. The Wildcats fell to Saint Louis, 80-68, and Santa Clara, 65-64, to finish in fourth place at the 76 Classic despite a tournament opening win against UC Riverside.
Mouphtaou Yarou had 19 points and seven rebounds in the third-place game against Santa Clara on Sunday, but the Wildcats lost after surrendering a game-ending, 10-0 run capped by two free throws with 4.3 seconds remaining.
Penn (4-4) has lost three out of four, but won its most recent outing against Manhattan on Tuesday. Five Quakers in double figures were led by Zack Rosen's 20 points. Tyler Bernardini, who scored 12 points while coming off the bench for the first time all season, poured in five crucial points late in the game to keep Manhattan at bay.
