Villanova's Corey Fisher Nominated For Bob Cousy Award

Villanova's Corey Stokes was named today as one of ten finalists for the Bob Cousy award, which is given every year to the nation's top point guard. The Wildcat's senior guard is averaging almost 16 points a game with 5 assists and three boards. He's led Nova to a 19-4 record so far this year, with only three losses in Big East play.

Joining Fisher on the list is BYU's Jimmer Fredette, Connecticut's Kemba Walker, Washington's Isaiah Thomas, Duke's Nolan Smith, St. Mary's Mickey McConnell, Illinois's Demetri McCarney, Kentucky's Brandon Knight, San Diego State's DJ Gay, and Cleveland State's Norris Cole.

Although the winner is ultimately decided by a committee, fans can vote on the Cousy award website. The fans will count as a one vote on the committee that selects the final winner. On March 10th, the 10 finalists will be whittled down to 5.
