SBNation Bracketology expert Chris Dobbertean published his latest analysis of the brackets this morning and as has been the case for several weeks, the news is mixed for the locals. Penn State is charging hard at a slot in the NCAA tournament after their win over #13 Wisconsin, but Dobbertean says they aren't in quite yet. He has the Nittany Lions as the second of his first four teams out. A win over Michigan State today would all but guarantee them a spot in the dance.
↵As for Villanova, he's maintained this whole time that they're safe. In fact, they seem to have risen from a #11 to a #10 in his most recent bracket. The Wildcats still hold a number of really good wins from earlier in the season and since the selection committee no longer weights a teams' last 10 games heavier than the rest, their late season swoon is not as devastating for their tourney chances as it would have been in years passed. Dobbertean has them projected to match up with Old Dominion in the first round.
↵Temple is obviously in the big dance and Dobbertean has them as a #5 seed, projected for a first round with Clemson.
