The Villanova Wildcats will take on the Delaware Blue Hens on Sunday at The Pavilion in a non-conference contest.
Villanova comes into the game riding the high off beating the St. Joseph's Hawks in "The Holy War" earlier this week, 65-61. The Wildcats have gotten off to a very uneven start at 6-4, but are perhaps trending upwards as they head toward the holidays.
With its non-conference slate almost finished up, Villanova is looking to fix some of the issues that has plagued it. The biggest of which has been shooting, where the Wildcats rank 262nd in the nation in field goal percentage at 41 percent.
Delaware has had a much rougher season, with a 3-7 mark to its credit. The Blue Hens have lost six of their previous seven games, only beating Radford Highlanders of the Big South Conference on Dec. 4.
Delaware's main star is Devon Saddler, a junior guard averaging 20.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.
