The Villanova Wildcats and Penn Quakers will get together on Saturday night at the Palestra for a Big 5 showdown, and the Wildcats are desperate for a win. After starting the season 3-0, the Cats have stumbled to losses in four of their past five games, two of which came at the hands of Big 5 rivals Temple and La Salle. The odd thing is that Villanova is shooting 42 percent from the floor as a team, which would make you think they'd be better than 4-4. However, they're turning the ball over an average of 17 times a game so far, which is too many.
Penn is also off to a poor start this year. It has started the season at 2-6, and has yet to play any other Big 5 teams. The Wildcats should be able to take care of the Quakers, despite both teams' troubles this year.
Tipoff from the Palestra is set for 8 p.m. ET, and the game can be seen on NBC Sports Network.
