Leading scorer Maalik Wayns is doubtful after suffering a sprained MCL a week and a half ago against Providence and could miss his second consecutive game. Fellow starter James Bell sprained his ankle during Wednesday's 65-51 loss to South Florida and has been ruled out of Saturday's affair.
The Wildcats have lost four out of five, the last coming Wednesday to South Florida despite 10 points from Maurice Sutton.
Notre Dame has been on a tear, rattling off seven straight wins to vault into a tie for second place in the Big East. The Fighting Irish sport a balanced offense paced by Jerian Grant's 13.0 points and 4.8 assists per game.
