Amile Jefferson Named McDonald's All-American

Amile Jefferson (Wynnewood, PA/Friends' Central) has been named a McDonald's All-American (via Scout). Jefferson was named to the East team for the 2012 McDonald's All-American game.

Jefferson (6-9, 200) is rated as the No. 3 power forward in the country by Scout.com. He has offers from Duke, North Carolina State, Kentucky, Ohio State and the Villanova Wildcats.

Practice sessions for the 2012 game begin on March 25th at the Attack Athletics training facility in Chicago. The game tips off on March 28th at 9:30 ET at the United Center.

Jefferson is one of five prospects playing in the McDonald's All-American game who are still uncommitted. Jefferson may not make his decision on a school until the end of his season (via Philly.com). The five-star forward averages 20.2 points per game, 10.2 rebounds per game and 2.7 blocks per game.
